EVALUATION FOR NURSERY – UKG

There are no written tests from Nursery to UKG Grades. Children are assessed on the basis of their class performance which covers reading, speaking, interpersonal skills, team spirit and participation in class activities.

FOR CLASSES I – VIII

The year is divided into 2 terms : Term I from April to September and Term II from October to March. The exams are conducted in the form of two terms. Students are assessed on the basis of their performance in the following activities.

            (a)        Periodic Tests (Pen/Paper)

            (b)        Practicals

             (c)       Subject Enrichment Activities/ASL

            (d)        Note book completion

FOR CLASS IX

Annual Examinations are conducted at the end of session covering the complete syllabus

Students have to secure at least 33% marks in each subject.

Periodic Assessment of students :-

Periodic Test carries 5 marks for each subject.

Note book submission carries 5 marks for each subject.

Subject Enrichment Activities carry 5 marks for each subject.

Activity  5 marks

It is mandatory for the students to appear in all the unit assessments and terminal evaluations. Progress reports are shown to the parents after each test. They should be signed by the parents and returned to the school promptly. Attendance in all tests including oral and practical is compulsory. Only medical leave can be granted during the tests on production of a proper medical certificate.
