In order to observe World Food Day that is celebrated on October 16 every year. A day of action dedicated to all who are tackling global hunger. In order to make students aware of this day , Mount International School organised various activities for the students of grade 1 to 10. A special assembly was also conducted by students of grade VIII virtually along with their teachers explaining the importance of World food day. Our creative Mount Literans enthusiastically participated in various activities such as
Sprouts making, Salad making and
Monaco toppings etc. They showcased their cookery skills so well by wearing aprons and masterchef caps. Students of
Grade 6 to 8 participated in
Display Table etiquette or table manners activity. Grade 9 and 10 participated in Healthy thali making and also made a chart on nutritional diet.
On this World Food Day, Our Mount Literans promised to never waste food and took it as an initiative and contribution to save food for those who are hungry.
